re: #6,I hate to break this to ya, but have you heard about the Macy's invasion here??? No more Marshall fields. I believe yesterday was the one-year anniversary of the conquest and I think they sold Frango Mint pie in the old Walnut Room for the day. They said it was to honor their forerunner [victim] but I think it was really just to rub it in our face. :(

And oh yeah - I totally miss those Minnesota Bluffs! Long Live the Loaf!

I'm refusing to call it Macy's!!! It happened after I left and the only one I go to is the one on State... It still has Marshall Fields signs (I know, I know, historical landmark...) but due to the fact that the signs are over the only one I ever go to... It's still Marshall Fields to me!!!! =0)
