What a 'Good Morning' I Received!

I took this picture this morning when I was driving through a school zone at 15 mph. And before I get any comments from the peanut gallery. I more or less pointed my cell phone camera at my passenger window and clicked without looking.

I'm just that good.

Anyway, I was spending the morning worshiping along with Moody radio (91.7) and saw this sight and took this picture while the radio-person was talking about the steadfast love of Jesus. And this beauty of the sunrise made me think of how even on the rainy days He is present in my morning. Even when I'm grudgingly getting up in the morning to head to the slowest possible branch in Lebanon... He is here. He is with me when I'm frustrated and bored.

What a blessing to see His glory at 7:15 in the morning.

I went to Walgreens on lunch...

And found something that never should have happened...
we all remember a former Presidential nominee who fell off of the stage doing the Macarena? Well no worries, McCain, Clinton and Obama... These dolls will dance in your stead.

Did I mention they sing, too?

Just a note...

To all those who have, are, and will come see a teller in a drive-thru.

We are not animals in cages.

We are not fish in glass bowls.

Please do not knock on the glass to get my attention.

I promise I see you.

However, if this trend continues... I will put up a

"Please Do Not Tap The Glass"

sign.

Thank you

Tremble by Nichole Nordeman

Have I come too causually?
Because it seems to me
There's something I've neglected
How does one approach a Deity
with imformality
And still protect the Sacred?

'Cause you came and chose to wear the skin of all of us
And it's easy to forget You left a throne

And the line gets blurry all the time
Between daily and Divine
And it's hard to know the difference

CHORUS:
Oh, let me not forget to tremble
Oh, let me not forget to tremble
Face down on the ground do I dare
To take the liberty to stare at you
Oh, let me not,
Oh, let me not forget to tremble

What a shame to think that I'd appear
Even slightly cavalier
In the matter of salvation
Do I claim this gift You freely gave
As if it were mine to take
With such little hesitation?

'Cause you came and stood among the very least of us
And it's easy to forget you left a throne

CHORUS

The cradle of the grave could not contain
Your Divinity Neither can I oversimplify this love

Oh, let me not forget to tremble

Face down on the ground do I dare
To take the liberty to stare at you
Oh, let me
Oh, let me not forget to tremble

Bernie Mac

Bernie Mac died this morning from complications from pneumonia.
I'm really going to miss him.
He made the world a funnier place.
